Parents often comment that along with the school community, the teachers, administration and staff at Calgary Christian are what make this school the best choice for their family. The commitment and enthusiasm for Christian education and for our students is unsurpassed.
We currently have an amazing staff of teachers, learning assistants and resource/enrichment consulting teachers working together as a team to educate our students at Calgary Christian. All CCS teachers have at a minimum an undergraduate degree and are specially trained to teach the Alberta government curriculum from a Christian perspective. We also have a Family Liaison Counselor, a Grade 9 Career Counselor and Guidance/Academic Counselling available for our students and families.
The staff includes specialists in music, physical education, languages, art and math and all our administration and educators are required to regularly participate in professional development.
There is also a dedicated team of Society Staff members that report directly to the Executive Director and carry out the work of the CSCE, including the Admissions Coordinator, Database Coordinator, Maintenance Team, staff in the Business Office, the Development Office, and the Preschool.
