February is Teacher/Staff Appreciation! Contact Janet, Volunteer Coordinator, to find out ways you can help.
Please be sure to check the calendar and join us for all the exciting things happening at CCS.
Our next meeting is February 10, 2012 at noon in the Elementary library. We hope to see you there!
We are excited to be able to fund many of the teacher wish list items at both campuses including Bible software, digital cameras and recording equipment. Thank you for your support of the grocery and gift card program to make this possible!
You can help with some of the wishlist items. Donations of the following are welcomed: games for indoor recess at the elementary campus and twin-sized hot-water washable, hypoallergenic quilts or blankets for the nursing room. Please drop off items at the elementary office.
With your help, we continue to raise funds through the grocery and gift card program. You can make a huge difference by buying your gift cards at CCS for stores such as Safeway, Superstore, M and M's, Home Depot, Starbucks, Indigo, Winners, GAP, Sport Chek, Toys R Us, Cineplex Odeon and many more. We use this money for projects that make our school a better place.

Blessings and Burdens exists to support individuals and families in our school who are going through difficult times and also to celebrate with those who are experiencing exciting life events. Be sure to check out the Grocery Card and FundScrip programs outlined on the "Donate and Support CCS" tab! Everyone needs groceries...pick up your gift cards from the school for the shopping you are going to do anyway, and the retailers make a donation to the school. The full value of the gift card is yours to spend when you need it. You can pick up your cards at either campus on your way to the grocery store, or order them to be ready for you automatically every month. Friends, neighbours, grandparents...everyone can use the cards (they are exactly like the ones you’d purchase directly!) and help provide funds that are used to provide “extras” to our students like recess equipment, library books and additional supplies for the classrooms. Any questions can be directed to Janet DeGraaff in the Volunteer Office at ext. 338 or by email at jdegraaff@csce.net. The other programs listed on the "Donate" tab and on the grocery bag that went home recently are also simple and ’no-fundraiser’ ways to help our students!
