It is difficult for me to believe that I am in my twenty first year of teaching and directing our high school athletic program. I have seen many program changes and have been apart of several exciting developments and competitions over the years here at Calgary Christian High School. My educational background includes attending a small Christian college here in Calgary, just out of high school, where I earned a Bachelor of Religious Education with a major in theology. I then went on to the University of Calgary and completed a Bachelor of Physical Education with an Education after degree. I have been involved with both religious and physical education ever since here at CCS. I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to teach and “play” with all the students in our high school physical education courses: PE 10, PE 20 and PE 30. I am also blessed to be teaching Sports Medicine 15, 25 and Outdoor Pursuits. It is a privilege and an honor to be a part of a calling that addresses both the spiritual commitment and the physical development of the students here at CCHS. It is my prayer that God would use me to make a lasting difference in the lives of young people and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
