Biography

Greetings from 5W!

My name is Krista Wilson and I am excited again to be a part of the teaching staff at CCS this year.

I graduated from Laurentian University in Ontario, with my Bachelor Degree in History. I continued on with my education at The Kings University College in Edmonton, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Education. From there I taught at a Christian school in rural Alberta for four years. Two years ago, I decided to move back to the 'big' city. I substitute taught for many Christian schools around the Calgary region during my first year. I was fortunate enough to work at CCS, not only as a substitute teacher, but also as a fill-in for a few months in Grade 3, while one of the teachers was on sick leave. Last year I was blessed to get a full time position in Grade 5 at CCS and return again this year in the same position.

Teaching is one of my many passions, and it is my hope that this year the Grade 5W class will discover their own passions and gifts and use them in a positive way. Our class theme this year, is "keep moving forward"! It is the goal of our class to learn to never give up and to keep trying at whatever task we encounter.

God's Blessings,
Krista Wilson
