Greetings from Belize
We made it ! Even after getting up so very early in the morning to get ready for the flight, discovering the joys of Continental and their crews and walking some of our students through customs for the first time it is still an awesome experience.
No hazards, no incidents and all arrived safe and sound.
1 bag is yet to arrive, but was an extra and is non essential save for a few tools.
Sun was up early and the dogs were barking at howler monkeys all night long. I think the girls cabin may be a little delayed on day one getting up.
Weather is great, heat is coming and the first sounds of the kitchen and Bonk coffee are starting the day.
We have a load of work to do at Camp this morning and then off to Banana Bank this afternoon to experience John Carr and his ranch (a few thousand acres), as well as horseback riding and river boat tour of the area.
We enjoyed an evening meal of taco chips, refried beans, liquid cheese and water, so we are well on our way with the local culture.
It is great to be back and we are blessed to have the opportunity, so thank you to all of you for allowing us the pleasure of being with your children and walking beside them on this adventure !!!!
Until tomorrow morning, have a great day !
Scott
