Welcome to Calgary Christian School

CCS is shaped by the commitment and enthusiasm our teachers, administrators and support staff have for Christian education. Everyday, we work to motivate our students to challenge themselves in all areas of excellence.

CCS currently employs 57 teachers and 11 learning assistants and is accredited by Alberta Education. All CCS teachers have at least an undergraduate degree and are certified by Alberta Education. To support the Christian mandate of the school, our teachers are also trained to teach government-approved curriculum from a Christian perspective.

To promote innovation in the classroom, teachers and learning assistants are required to participate in regular professional development, including perspectives courses in Christian education. This, combined with specialists trained in areas such as French, art, music and broadcast, makes CCS a place where your child can truly experience a dynamic, well-rounded education.
