At Calgary Christian School we believe in nurturing and educating the whole child. The means creating an environment for all children to thrive and explore the gifts God has given them. As an accredited school we meet or exceed the curricular requirements of Alberta Education. The curriculum offers an integrated approach to learning that reflects and explores the diversity, complexity and richness of God’s world. The values and beliefs of the Christian faith are intentionally integrated into the daily activities of the school.
In the formative years, from pre-school through to grade six, we offer an intimate learning environment of small teacher/student ratios that allows out teachers to closely interact with students and integrating faith in all aspects of their learning - whether its during phys ed, language arts or during chapel time.
We encourage and invite parents into the school and classroom at any time – and become active participants in their children’s education and faith journey at school. We have seen the direct relationship between a parent’s interest and involvement in school work and activities and a child’s spiritual, emotional and scholastic health.
