At Calgary Christian School (CCS) we believe in nurturing and educating the whole child. The means creating an environment for all children to thrive and explore the gifts God has given them. As an accredited school we meet or exceed the curricular requirements of Alberta Education. The CCS curriculum offers an integrated approach to learning that reflects and explores the diversity, complexity and richness of God’s world. The values and beliefs of the Christian faith are intentionally integrated into the daily activities of the school.
In high school we continue our integrated faith approach but now we ask our students to out their Bible knowledge to use in classes such as Christian ethics, the study of world religions, a media discernment class and more. Of course, we start our day with prayer and have a biweekly chapel.
We are committed to helping each child realize his or her God-given potential and will use our deep well of knowledge, training and experiences to help each student meet that goal.
We offer students a safe environment to learn and grow as a Christian and as a young adult. We have an appropriate dress and conduct code to help students make good choices. We expect students to be courteous and considerate in all their interactions with other students and teachers.
