At Calgary Christian School (CCS) we believe in nurturing and educating the whole child. The means creating an environment for all children to thrive and explore the gifts God has given them. As an accredited school we meet or exceed the curricular requirements of Alberta Education. The CCS curriculum offers an integrated approach to learning that reflects and explores the diversity, complexity and richness of God’s world. The values and beliefs of the Christian faith are intentionally integrated into the daily activities of the school
Including students from abroad enriches our students and families at Calgary Christian School. It helps us celebrate the diversity in God’s kingdom and to this end, we offer two options for students:
- An ESL class and support in conjunction with a regular program
- A fully integrated program
We test all International Students for reading and writing abilities and place them based on their appropriate levels. To ensure this is a rich experience, they also receive support from an ESL teacher and assistant.
