Celebrating our learning!

In support of Mr. Bird's deep hope for 3B that his students will grow and be curious in their learning , discover interests and talents that they are passionate about, and serve God and others as engaged citizens and Mrs. Steinke's deep hope that her 3S students will SOAR with God, learn, and love without limits the Grade 3 students took on a month-long learning adventure.

This adventure took them through studies of rocks and minerals with Christ - exploring how God is ultimately the solid ROCK and their foundation.  Students lead a school-wide initiative to collect food to fill the Emmanuel Church Food Pantry.  God provided and faith was built as the food poured in.  Students prayed that God would bring in an "abundant harvest", and he answered their prayers beyond what they could have imagined. Students from all three Grade 3 classes carried over bags and bags of non-perishable groceries.  The Emmanuel Church Food Pantry shelves were filled with food and household goods to last months.  The lessons taught on sowing seeds, blessing others, and true JOY through being generous givers, was genuinely experienced by the students through this incredible opportunity.

Praise be to God!
