Ms. Danielle Hussey

My name is Danielle Hussey and this is my seventh year teaching at CCS-wow, that went fast! I've been teaching grade 6 my entire time here and I love it-the kids are at such a cool age figuring out who they are and the gifts God has given them. They also really get my sense of humor and sarcasm at this age-it's lots of fun! 

My deep hope is that my students genuinely know who Jesus was and what he stood for (empathy, kindness, love…). They will form their own knowledge using the Bible and prayer, not what someone else tells them. What would Jesus Do will be a meaningful question in my classroom, not just a bracelet.

I am very eager and happy to have real students in my classroom again, and as we figure out how to navigate everything going on I know we can do it by working together and trusting Jesus. Can't wait to meet you all!
