Middle/High School Learning Support
My name is Cindy LeCocq and I am the Learning Support Teacher at the secondary campus.
Originally from the east coast, my family moved to Winnipeg for a few years, before relocating to Calgary in 2007. I have been working in the field of special education and resource for the past 28 years, and the last 10 have been here at CCS. I have a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Special Education (Secondary) from Acadia University in Wolfville NS.
My role is to help teachers meet the diverse needs of students in their classes. I also oversee the IPPs and provide academic counselling to students. What I love about working at CCS is the caring and collaborative community we have, with a emphasis on relationships and citizenship.
My husband and I have two daughters, Carly and Hannah, who are both away at university. We are enjoying this new found freedom, and in our spare time love to travel and explore the great outdoors.
