My name is Rebecca Parkin and I am so excited to be one of the Phys. Ed Specialists in the elementary School.
I attended Mount Royal University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Elementary Education, specialising in Health and Physical Education. "Active for life" is a passion of mine and is something I hope to share with the students. Whether you're on a sports team or enjoy other forms of being active my goal is to help students discover different ways they enjoy moving!
I graduated from CCS in 2011 and married Jordan Parkin, another CCS alumni, in 2015. Jordan is an Athletic Therapist and together we have two children Kelsey (3.5) and Alexander (1.5). We attend Horizon Church and can often be found outside enjoying time together!
This is my 7th year teaching at CCES but my 1st year teaching Phys Ed! You may have seen me around, please always feel welcome to come and say hi!
