HS Math and Physics Teacher
For those that do not know me, I taught here from 2006-2015, teaching Math, Physics, Chemistry, and a variety of options. Both my son and daughter are graduates of CCS. This year I am teaching Math, Physics, and whatever else Mr. Barthel asks of me.
I am so pleased to be back teaching at Calgary Christian School. When I moved to BC in 2015, although I really enjoyed the weather, it was soon clear that I was too far from family. Since then, I have taught at an outreach school and two rural schools in Alberta. In each case, I continued to teach math and science, as well as some complementary courses.
However, I have always considered CCS my home school. Who knows, maybe some of this years’ students will have brothers or sisters that I taught, although it is more likely they would be aunts or uncles.
I love all sports (Oilers Forever!), enjoy singing (come to school and you will probably hear me), and love spending time with family. And since I consider CCS a family, and I could not be happier to be home.
