Ms. Kate Stewart

My name is Kate Stewart and I will be teaching grade 9 English Language Arts and Social Studies 10 & 20 at the Calgary Christian School.
I was born and raised in Calgary and completed my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and my Bachelor of Education at the University of Lethbridge. I have a zest and passion for teaching about current social issues and pride myself on keeping the curriculum relevant to twenty-first century students. My time outside of the classroom is typically spent golfing, snowboarding, reading, cooking, or enjoying a hot cup of coffee with friends.
My classroom is a space that welcomes all students and encourages critical thinking, thoughtful discussion, and a desire to learn. I look forward to seeing you in my classroom this year!
